Cenlar FSB Promotes Christopher Johnson to Vice President, Mortgage Servicing

EWING, N.J. (November 20, 2020) – Cenlar FSB, the nation’s leading mortgage loan subservicer and federally chartered wholesale bank, today announced that Christopher Johnson, a 25-year mortgage and financial services industry veteran, has been promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Servicing. Chris will lead both Cenlar’s Customer Interaction and Default Call Centers, where he will be responsible for managing over 1,200 production employees across multiple sites, supporting a $670 billion mortgage portfolio.

“Chris is a dedicated leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success managing operations and vendor relationships, while overseeing dialer administration, and business resiliency functions,” said Lou Sigillo, Senior Vice President of Contact Centers for Cenlar. “He’s provided invaluable cross-functional leadership with multiple internal departments, and executed numerous business process improvements since joining Cenlar in 2019 as Director of Default Call Center Operations. I’m confident Chris is the right person to take our centers to the next level.”

From 2006 to 2019, Chris rose through the ranks of JPMorgan, holding positions of increased mortgage-servicing responsibilities. As an Executive Director of Operations, he managed the daily operations of various functions including Collections, Loss Mitigation, Customer Assistance, and Strategy & Oversight within the mortgage servicing division that supported a $790 billion mortgage portfolio. Prior to that, he was at Citibank for eight years where he was a Vice President of Mortgage Servicing.
